Rochester, NY December 2, 2005 – On Monday, December 12th Carolyn Audi Fischi, part of the L & JG Stickley Inc. and Stickley/Audi family, will be in WXXI’s studios to draw the winning name of WXXI’s Harvey Ellis-inspired Dining Room Giveaway. The furniture company donated the 72” table and leaves, four side chairs and two arm chairs to WXXI in support of the public broadcasting station’s winter membership drive. WXXI-TV viewers can enter the drawing during the Monday, December 5th and Monday, December 12th Antiques Roadshow broadcasts, airing at 8 p.m. both evenings on WXXI-TV 21 (cable 11). The winner of the dining room will be named during the December 12th broadcast.

“It’s a very generous donation,” said Robin Stone, WXXI’s Assistant Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Stickley, Audi & Co. are great supporters of public television and the people who are keeping the proud tradition of Gustav and Leopold Stickley alive and well.”
Over the years Stickley furniture has appeared at appraisals all over the country. Recently Antiques Roadshow visited St. Paul, Minnesota where an original 1904 Harvey Ellis-inspired chair was appraised for $40,000 to $50,000.

"We are deeply committed to the Rochester area through our support of WXXI. We are pleased to donate this Harvey Ellis-inspired dining group, handcrafted by Stickley, as a way to encourage Rochester area residents to support WXXI," said Mr. & Mrs. Alfred Audi, owners of Stickley Furniture and Stickley, Audi & Co.
