| For Immediate Release NYS ATTORNEY GENERAL CANDIDATES CUOMO AND PIRRO GO HEAD TO HEAD IN A VOICE OF THE VOTER DEBATE TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17 AT WXXI Rochester, New York (October 13, 2006) – The two candidates for the New York State Attorney General race, Democrat Andrew Cuomo and Republican Jeanine Pirro have agreed to participate in a Voice of the Voter debate. The debate will take place on Tuesday, October 17 at 10 a.m. at WXXI’s studio (280 State Street, Rochester, NY) and will be broadcast tape-delayed at 9 p.m. that evening on WXXI-TV 21 (cable 11) and simulcast on AM 1370. Voice of the Voter is an initiative to inform and involve citizens in the elections. Panelists in this debate include representatives from Voice of the Voter's media partners – WXXI Public Broadcasting, 13 WHAM-TV and the Democrat and Chronicle, as well as a citizen representative from Voice of the Voter.
