| For Immediate Release WXXI-TV AND AM 1370 ARE ROCHESTER’S ONLY STATIONS TO CARRY UPCOMING SPITZER AND FASO DEBATE AND WALSH AND MAFFEI DEBATE Rochester, New York (October 6, 2006) – New York State Gubernatorial candidates John J. Faso and Eliot L. Spitzer will go head to head in a live debate broadcast from WNED studios in downtown Buffalo, New York on Thursday, October 12. Made possible through a partnership with WNED, The Buffalo News and the Association of Public Broadcasting Stations of New York, the live debate will air in Rochester on WXXI-TV 21 (cable 11) and AM 1370 at 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, and on New York’s eight other public television stations, and offered to all public radio stations in the state.
