Results and Analysis Begin at 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 7

Rochester, New York (November 3, 2006) – WXXI-AM 1370’s Bob Smith and 103.9 WDKX-FM's Tariq Spence host complete election night coverage beginning at 9 o’clock on Tuesday, November 7 on WXXI-AM 1370 or WXXI-Q (DT21.2 or digital cable 524). Guest analyst Erika Rosenberg, a research associate at the Center for Governmental Research, will join them in studio. WXXI’s Capitol Bureau Correspondent Karen DeWitt will report live from New York City while WXXI correspondents will report from Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Corning. Election updates will be broadcast on WXXI-TV 21 (cable 11) throughout the evening, as well as on 103.9 WDKX-FM.

Coverage of national political races from NPR will include stories from Mara Liasson and NPR’s Congressional team – David Welna, Andrea Seabrook, and Brian Naylor – who will take every opportunity to travel to cover key Senate and House elections. The White House duo of Linda Wertheimer and Peter Overby will also contribute coverage of Bush’s impact on the campaigns.
