MONROE COUNTY LEGISLATURE CANDIDATES PARTICIPATE IN
A VOICE OF THE VOTER FORUM AT WXXI

FORMAT: Candidates from the 6th, 8th, 10th and 16th Monroe County Legislature Districts have been invited to participate. A diverse panel of citizens from Voice of the Voter, who have been meeting regularly to discuss local issues, will pose questions to the candidates.

- Arrive as early as 6:00 p.m. and no later than 6:45 p.m.

- Press will be allowed in the studio during the taping. Video cameras will not be permitted in studio, but a tape of the forum will be available to take with you when you leave. Tape requests must be made in advance. Please call Kristin Tutino at 258-0253 to request a tape. Requests must be made before 3 p.m. on the day of the taping (Oct. 2)

- Voice of the Voter, a collaboration among the Democrat and Chronicle, WXXI Public Broadcasting, 13 WHAM TV and WDKX 103.9 FM, is committed to bringing citizens’ concerns to the forefront in political issues. The Community Foundation supports Voice of the Voter through its civic engagement initiative.

- Parking is available, in the High Falls Garage — just South of WXXI. Parking in the WXXI visitors’ garage is reserved for the citizens taking part in the taping.
