Rochester, New York (November 5, 2008) – New York Governor David Paterson will host a town hall meeting in New York City to discuss New York State’s financial crisis, which will air on Thursday, November 6 at 8 p.m. on WXXI-ThinkBright DT 21.3 (cable 433). On Friday, November 7 at 8:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV 21 (cable 11) Need to Know, WXXI’s weekly, in-depth news program, presents a follow-up show to the Governor’s town meeting. WXXI Albany Bureau Correspondent Karen DeWitt and Gannett’s Albany Bureau Correspondent Joe Spector will join Need to Know host Julie Philipp in studio to react to discussions at the town hall meeting. DeWitt and Spector will also talk about the final outcomes of the local, state and national elections, and what it means for Upstate New Yorkers.
