WXXI-AM TO BROADCAST GOVERNOR PATERSON’S ROCHESTER TOWN HALL MEETING MARCH 11
Special Coverage begins at 4:30 p.m., Town Meeting airs at 9 p.m.

Rochester, New York March 9, 2009 – New York Governor David Paterson will hold a Town Hall Meeting at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center on Wednesday, March 11 at 5:30 p.m. as part of his campaign to provide New Yorkers with a forum to share their thoughts on how to improve the state’s economy. WXXI’s Bud Lowell will report live from the forum during All Things Considered, between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on AM1370/HD91.5-2, WRUR-FM 88.5 and WJSL-FM 90.3.

The complete, hour-long Town Hall Meeting will air on AM1370/HD91.5-2 at 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 11.

On Thursday, March 12, between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on AM1370/HD91.5-2, WRUR-FM 88.5 and WJSL-FM 90.3 during Morning Edition Lowell will provide follow-up coverage, as well as reports from WXXI’s Carlet Cleare and Rachel Ward. On Friday, March 13 at 8:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV 21 (cable 11)/WXXI-HD (DT21.1/cable 1011), Need to Know will provide more in-depth coverage of the Governor’s visit.
