Rochester, New York (November 3, 2010) – WXXI Public Broadcasting and 13WHAM-TV are providing an anti-bullying hotline Thursday, November 4 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. The phone bank, held at WXXI’s studios in Rochester, will be staffed by experts from the local chapter of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Bivona Child Advocacy Center.

The hotline is part of WXXI and 13WHAM’s day-long focus on raising the awareness of the dangers of bullying and discussing potential solutions to the problem. Viewers and listeners can call (585) 454-6300 between 5:00-6:00 p.m. to get advice about dealing with bullying they’ve experienced personally or witnessed happening to someone else.
