| For Immediate Release WXXI AND GEVA PRESENT “WHAT’S THE PRICE?”, A FREE ANTIQUE APPRAISAL EVENT ON MARCH 6, 2010 Rochester, New York (February 13, 2010) – In the spirit of Antiques Roadshow, seen on WXXI-TV, and in celebration of Geva’s upcoming production, The Price, WXXI and Geva will host a free antique appraisal event, “What’s The Price?”, on Saturday, March 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Geva Theatre Center, 75 Woodbury Blvd., Rochester. “What’s The Price?” is a unique tie-in with Geva’s The Price, where two estranged brothers come together to clean out their parents’ attic full of memories. The brothers are joined by a wisecracking used-furniture salesman that helps them appraise their possessions. Appraisals are free, but spaces for items must be reserved by going to the Geva Web site at <www.gevatheatre.org/events/whatstheprice.html>. Patrons are limited to one item only, and it must be small enough to be carried into the theatre. For larger items, photos are permissible. Appraisers include local experts Jack Wanderman, Yvonne Jordan, Joe Dasta, Rod McDonald, Glen Moscoe, Jim Malley, Tom Cohn, Greg Weiss and Steve Eisinger whose areas of expertise range from decorative art, folk art and Asian art to porcelain, books, textiles, paper goods and records.
