WXXI NEWS PRESENTS COVERAGE OF THE SPECIAL ROCHESTER MAYORAL ELECTION TUESDAY, MARCH 29

Rochester, New York (March 28, 2011) – WXXI News will post results of the Special Rochester Mayoral Election at WXXI.org on Election Night, Tuesday, March 29 as the returns start coming in. WXXI News will provide full coverage of the election on Wednesday, March 30 during Morning Edition (5 a.m. to 10 a.m.) and All Things Considered (4 p.m. to 6 p.m.) on AM 1370/FM-HD 91.5-1 and WRUR-FM 88.5.

Earlier in March WXXI hosted a Voice of the Voter debate between the mayoral candidates. WXXI News Director Julie Philipp served as moderator with questions for the candidates coming from panelists Hélène Biandudi of WXXI News, Brian Sharp of the Democrat and Chronicle and Rachel Barnhart of 13WHAM-TV.
