WXXI NAMES MONA SEGHATOLESLAMI CLASSICAL 91.5’S AFTERNOON HOST Rochester, New York (November 8, 2011) – WXXI is proud to announce Mona Seghatoleslami as its new afternoon host and producer on Classical 91.5, Rochester’s only all-Classical music station. She will take to the airwaves on Monday, November 14 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Originally from New Jersey, Seghatoleslami studied musicology and library science at Indiana University in Bloomington and Viola Performance at Illinois State University in Normal, Ill. While at school in Indiana, she was first introduced to radio work at WFIU Bloomington. In her free time, Seghatoleslami likes to play music – including viola, electric bass, and ukulele, attend concerts, and reads science fiction. She has also recently completed two triathlons. Seghatoleslami can be heard on Classical 91.5/90.3/HD91.5-1 weekdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., beginning November 14. ### WXXI is the essential, life-long educational media resource for the Greater Rochester area.
