Special 1370 Connection and Need to Know Rochester plus an Online Chat to Follow

Rochester, New York (January 18, 2012) – On Tuesday, January 24 at 6:30 p.m. Rochester City School District Interim Superintendent Dr. Bolgen Vargas will present his State of Our School Address at Wilson Commencement Academy.  WXXI will carry the address live on AM-1370, and stream it at WXXINews.org. The broadcast will be hosted by WXXI’s Helene Biandudi.
Then on Wednesday, January 25 at 12 noon on AM 1370 and City 12 (cable 12) Dr. Vargas will join Bob Smith on 1370 Connection to talk more about the future of the Rochester City Schools, and answer questions from listeners calling in to the show at 585-263-9994. Immediately following, at 1 p.m. Dr. Vargas will participate in a live online chat at WXXINews.org.

Need to Know Rochester will follow up with a State of Our Schools special, featuring highlights from the Dr. Vargas’ address, on Friday, January 27 at 8:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV/HD (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11).
