Friday, December 23 at 12 p.m. – Tinsel Tales: Christmas Favorites
(Rochester, NY) – Tinsel Tales: Christmas Favorites airs Friday, December 23 at 12 p.m., and again at 10 p.m. on AM1370/FM-HD 91.5-2. This program features stories from the NPR archives that touch on the meaning of Christmas. David Sedaris, Bailey White, John Henry Faulk – these and other NPR voices, past and present, tell stories of the season.
Immediately following the special is Tinsel Tales 2 at 1 p.m. and again at 11 p.m. on December 23. Continuing with the tradition of the first Tinsel Tales, this is another collection of the best and most requested holiday stories. Joy, hope, and childhood memories overflow as NPR voices, past and present, tell stories of the season. Both programs are hosted by Lynn Neary.
