(Rochester, NY) – The Salzburg Festival, the world’s most renowned international music festival, celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2010. Highlights include Vienna Philharmonic concerts led by Daniel Barenboim and Riccardo Muti, the complete opera Orfeo ed Euridice and a program of contemporary music by Jörg Widmann, Morton Feldman and this year’s festival composer Wolfgang Rihm. The Salzburg Festival airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m., beginning January 18 on Classical 91.5/FM-HD91.5-1.
