(Rochester, NY) – WXXI-FM is pleased to present this two-hour special – El Paso Pro Musica Festival – airing Tuesday, March 1 at 8 p.m. on Classical 91.5/FM-HD 91.5-1. The El Paso Pro Musica is devoted to making the art of chamber music available to communities by bringing world-renowned artists to its audiences.
Listeners will be treated to the world premiere of Roberto Sierra’s Suite for Cello and Piano; a performance of Chopin on the piano feature in the documentary Note by Note, the Making of Steinway; violinist Rachel Barton Pine performs music of American composer Maude Powell; and “The First Daughters Club” (soprano Arianna Zukerman and pianist Navah Perlman) perform together.
