Monday, October 31 at 1 p.m. –The Capitol Steps: Politics Takes a Holiday
(Rochester, NY) – Are you wondering where Moammar Khadafy is hiding? He's on stage with Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Barack Obama, and the entire Congressional Super Committee in the Halloween special, The Capitol Steps: Politics Takes a Holiday, airing Monday, October 31 at 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. on AM 1370/FM-HD 91.5-2.After all, if something happens in the news, run to the show and see what rhymes with it! Shorter than a GOP debate and certainly less frequent!
Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded over 30 albums, including their latest, Desperate Housemembers and Barackin' Around the Christmas Tree. The Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. Although not all of the current members of the Steps are former Capitol Hill staffers, taken together the performers have worked in a total of eighteen Congressional offices and represent 62 years of collective House and Senate staff experience. They've been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard 4 times a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their Politics Takes a Holiday radio specials.
