Tuesday, September 6 at 8 p.m. – San Francisco Symphony Orchestra
(Rochester, NY) – Classical 91.5 brings listeners the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra's radio broadcast series, Tuesdays at 8 p.m. begininning September 6, 2011. Broadcasting from the Davies Symphony Hall, the 26-week series is hosted by Rik Malone. Michael Tilson Thomas leads the orchestra in a full season of innovative and interesting collection of traditional repertory and new music.
Since its beginning in 1911, the San Francisco Symphony has been known for innovative programs that offer a spectrum of traditional repertory and new music. Today, the Orchestra's artistic vitality, recordings, and groundbreaking multimedia educational projects, carry its impact throughout American musical life.
