(Rochester, NY) – Richard Strauss’ comic masterpiece of love and intrigue in 18th-century Vienna stars Renée Fleming as the aristocratic Marschallin and Susan Graham in the trouser role of her young lover. Great Performance at the Met "Der Rosenkavalier" airs Sunday, April 25 at 12 p.m. on WXXI-TV (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11). Music director James Levine conducts a cast that includes Kristinn Sigmundsson and Miah Persson. Recorded on January 9, 2010.
