Wednesday, April 13 at 11 a.m. –Shalome Sesame: It's Passover, Grover!

(Rochester, NY) – It’s time to celebrate Passover in Israel with Sesame Street's Grover and the gang. Shalome Sesame: It’s Passover, Grover! airs Wednesday, April 13 at 11 a.m., and again on Sunday, April 17 at 9:30 a.m. on WXXI-TV/HD (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11). This educational and entertaining holiday special finds the furry and loveable Grover with celebrity host Anneliese van der Pol (That’s So Raven, Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast) as they travel to Israel and celebrate Passover. Special guest appearance by Jake Gyllenhaal.

In It’s Passover, Grover! all is well until Anneliese, Grover, and Avigail realize there is no horseradish to be found—just as Passover is about to begin! Can Annelise and her furry friends find the missing horseradish in time or will a tricky Oofnik get in their way? Designed to help bring the vitality of Jewish culture and tradition as well as the diversity of Israeli life to American children and their families, It’s Passover, Grover!  will engage and entertain while highlighting Jewish cultural traditions and values.
