Sunday, August 30 at 9 p.m. – Masterpiece Mystery! Inspector Lewis Series II
(Rochester, NY) – Kevin Whately returns as Inspector Lewis for a second season. The much-loved Oxford policeman is joined once again by Laurence Fox (A Room With a View) as his young partner D.S. Hathaway. As the relationship between inspector and sergeant grows and develops, the viewer sees new sides to the inimitable duo. Masterpiece Mystery! Inspector Lewis Series II premieres Sunday, August 30 at 9 p.m. and runs through October on WXXI-TV (DT21.1/cable1011/cable 11).
The series begins with stolen rare books and the murders of a brilliant Oxford Fine Art student and a library maintenance engineer in And The Moonbeams Kiss the Sea. The mystery leads Lewis and Hathaway to a treatment center for gambling addicts and two talented painters. Can Oxford’s finest trace the killers before they claim their next victim?
