Sunday, December 5 at 3 p.m. – Anne of Green Gables I Marathon
(Rochester, NY) – WXXI hosts an Anne of Green Gables I Marathon on Sunday, December 5 from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV/HD (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11). Based on the best-selling novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery, the television series stars Megan Follows as Anne Shirley.
Anne of Green Gables tells the story of an orphan girl who is mistakenly sent to live with an elderly bachelor farmer and his spinster sister. Not at all what they expected, Anne charms them and the community with her fiery spirit and imagination.
