Saturday, July 17 at 3 p.m. – Second Opinion "Fibromyalgia"
(Rochester, NY) – Second Opinion, WXXI's national health care series that presents actual medical cases to a panel of experts to debate the pros and cons of diagnostic testing, interpret test results, and prescribe the best course of action, looks at Fibromyalgia. The Fibromyalgia episode airs Saturday, July 17 at 3 p.m., and again on Sunday, July 18 at 1:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV (DT 21.1/cable 1011 and 11).
Fibromyalgia describes a condition of widespread pain throughout the body. Hard to diagnose, and even harder to treat, Fibromyalgia often leaves both patients and doctors frustrated.
