(Rochester, NY) – Loopdiver: The Journey of a Dance, airing Sunday, July 31 at 11:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV/HD (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11), explores the creation of an original performance work by the award-winning international dance company Troika Ranch. A dance experiment on the repetitions of the modern world evolves into an exploration into the repetitive patterns in which ordinary people find themselves trapped. The half-hour documentary follows the creative efforts of company members over a two year period as they struggle with the extreme physical and emotional demands of creating an experimental new work.
