(Rochester, NY) – Music’s true world citizen and most popular contemporary composer Yanni fulfilled a 20-year-old dream on December 16 and 17, 2011 when he performed at the beautiful and historic 16th-century Castillo San Felipe del Morro in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Backed by his renowned orchestra, Yanni performed an awe-inspiring two-hour set of career favorites, including Santorini, Felitsa, Voyage, The End of August, The Rain Must Fall, Nightingale, Acroyali, Marching Season and more, as well as two encores featuring Standing in Motion, Nostalgia, The Storm, and One Man’s Dream. Yanni Live at El Morro airs Tuesday, March 6 at 9:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV/HD (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11).
