Tuesday, March 13 at 8 p.m. – Joe Bonamassa: Beacon Theatre – Live from New York
(Rochester, NY) – Internationally renowned guitar superstar Joe Bonamassa delivers a stunning performance at the legendary Beacon Theatre in New York City in this special taped exclusively for public television. Bonamassa’s show at the Beacon Theatre is his follow-up performance for PBS, following the successful Joe Bonamassa – Live at the Royal Albert Hall that featured a special guest appearance by Eric Clapton. Joe Bonamassa: Beacon Theatre – Live from New York premieres Tuesday, March 13 at 8 p.m. on WXXI-TV/HD (DT.21.1/cable 1011 and 11). Viewers will learn more about Bonamassa's upcoming performances in Buffalo and Rochester, and how to get tickets. This special repeats on Saturday, March 17 at 9 p.m.
Bonamassa’s Beacon Theatre performance, captured by the same producers and directors who filmed his performance at the Royal Albert Hall, features memorable duet performances with legendary classic rock singer Paul Rodgers (lead singer for Bad Company) and John Hiatt, recipient of Nashville’s Music Lifetime Achievement Award for songwriting. In addition to these special guest appearances, Bonamassa’s show features new songs and a guitar experience audiences will be sure to remember.
