Sunday, May 16 at 4:30 p.m. – Help Wanted, Featuring Rochester's P.R.I.M.E. Program
(Rochester, NY) – Help Wanted, a new series designed to help New York citizens deal with the current economic crisis that is dramatically affecting individuals and families across the state travels to Rochester, New York. In this week's episode, airing Sunday, May 16 at 4:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11), Help Wanted features a man who has found success in Rochester's Providing Real Incentives to Maintain Employment (P.R.I.M.E.) program, designed to assist adults in their search for sustainable employment.
Viewers will also meet a man who is trying to assimilate back into society and leave the life of crime behind with the help of ACAP, Albany Community Action Partnership, a non-profit organization that trains and supports job seekers. Then, find out 10 ways to overcome the “overqualified” label when looking for a job.
This episode will also air on City 12 (cable 12) on Sunday, May 2 at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 22 at 8 p.m., and Wednesday, June 23 at 2 p.m.
