Wednesday, March 4 at 8 p.m. – Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles
(Rochester, NY)– There are not many bands that can fully capture what a true live Beatles concert was like, however the band Rain, comes very close. Rain covers the Fab Four from the earliest beginnings through the psychedelic late 60s and their long-haired hippie, hard-rocking rooftop days. Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles, airing Wednesday, March 4 at 8 p.m. on WXXI-TV 21 (cable 11) and WXXI-HD (cable 1011 and DT 21.1), is a multi-media, multi-dimensional experience – a fusion of historical footage and hilarious television commercials from the 1960s light up video screens, and live cameras zoom in for close-ups.
Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles is coming to Rochester! During the television special, you’ll be able to call into WXXI at (585) 454-6300 or 1-800-295-WXXI, make a donation, and as a thank you gift – receive tickets to this concert at the Auditorium Theatre on June 6, 2009.
