David Dey, born in 1965, grew up in Rochester, New York. His father was a postal worker and his mother worked in the local GM plant. David is one of four children and the only entrepreneur in the family. He has a passion for building healthy communities, equipping the next generation of leaders and for technology. His passion for entrepreneurship led him to create the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship at Roberts Wesleyan College and several unique entrepreneurial projects targeting schools, community development strategies and innovative programs that are demonstrating the power of Social Entrepreneurship. David’s inspiration comes from God and his family, including his wife LaDonna and their four children: David, Alessandria, Donovan and Victoria.
