Ray Kenney
Ray Kenney is the founder of Sign Language Connection, Inc., which provides American Sign Language interpreters throughout western New York State. He also owns an online news service for the deaf, which can be found at DeafTimes.com. Ray is a board member for Rochester Center for Independent Living, as well as former President of the Empire State Association of the Deaf. Ray is 58-years old.
Robert Menchel
Robert Menchel tutors students in math and physics at Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf, where he served as a tenured faculty member until his retirement in 2001. Robert holds a doctorate degree from Harvard University, and has served on numerous committees advocating for people with disabilities. These include the Presidents Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Rochester School for the Deaf, and National Council on Education. Robert has been deaf since the age of seven, due to spinal meningitis. Robert is 72-years old.
