Update on VITAL 2.0 Upgrade Powered by PBS LearningMedia
New York State's Public Television stations are pleased to announce that over the coming months, VITAL NY will be going through a major upgrade in service and content that will benefit all users. This "2.0" version of VITAL NY will be powered by PBS Learning Media, a new national portal for public broadcasting content, yielding a dynamic new combination of all of the high quality multimedia resources and features you already utilize on VITAL, with an exciting new online environment and twice as much content.
The official launch of this merged, upgraded service is expected to take place in Spring 2013. In the meantime, there will not be any disruption to your direct access to VITAL NY, and you can continue to log in and access VITAL NY through your local public television station's website. All media content from our current VITAL NY service, and more, will continue to be accessible on this new platform free of charge for educational use in New York State.
