Fighting for Rochester's Future is a collaboration involving The Democrat and Chronicle, WOKR's NewsSource 13 and WXXI's News and Public Affairs Department on both TV and Radio.

The City of Rochester is, once again, at a crossroads. As Rochester converts from an economy based on manufacturing to one that's viable in the 2st century, it's effects can be felt even in the suburbs. This collaboration allows individuals in the community to feel they have a voice and can make a difference in their city's future. There are five topics to be covered monthly by all collaborative members

Developers plan to break ground this summer on Paetec Park, the new stadium for the Rochester Raging Rhinos soccer team. City officials see it as a chance for economic development and to improve safety in a depressed neighborhood. Residents surrounding the proposed site openly question what the impact of the stadium will be.
