"Salmagundy, the Show for Working People" Simon Pontin is the host of this light-hearted and humorous magazine-style program of folk, jazz, show tunes and novelty pieces. Locally-produced features include a movie review, a couple of historians, a bit of science, two storytellers, several musical commentaries and a book review. Garrison Keillor's "Writer's Almanac" is heard at nine.
