WXXI is proud to bring you complete coverage of the New York State Governor's Summit on Student Engagement and Dropout Prevention, which was held at Nazareth College in Rochester, New York on Friday, October 10, 2008. Pedro Noguera, Ph.D., a professor in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University, presented the keynote address entitled, "Our Promise for the Future: Meeting the Challenge". Please note, this video is 2 1/2 hours in length.
