Eat Well, Live Long! That’s the motto of Founder Bill Higgins began about a decade ago when he purchased a parcel of agricultural land started Saratoga Garlic. Saratoga Wine Excahnge is a 4200 sq. ft. store in downtown Saratoga Springs. The business has also become one of the country’s largest retailers of New York State wines. For nearly a century, Jack’s has been an integral part of Albany’s landscape. Long considered the hot spot for politicians and the famous, Jack’s ambiance is reminiscent of the clubby New York style restaurants so in vogue today. Historic, water-powered cider mill on the banks of Fly Creek pressing fresh, sweet cider for 152 years. The Cooperstown Brewing Company was founded in 1994. They brew premium ales, porters, and stouts using the finest two-row English barley malts, West Coast hops and the English Ringwood Yeast. Bear Pond Winery is a New York State Farm Winery nestled on a gentle hillside in the heart of the Leatherstocking region of Central New York. Established in 1992 near the shore of Otsego Lake in Cooperstown and named after the Bear Pond on the property. In October of 1997, not far from the birthplace of baseball, ground was broken for what was to become America's most unique microbrewery. Based on traditional Belgian farmhouse architecture and set on a former hop farm in upstate New York, Brewery Ommegang was born with the philosophy that truly unique ales must be built from the ground up.

Garlic Soup
Take a head of garlic and cut the top off (pointed side). Put the garlic into a roasting pan with some water on the bottom of the pan. Cover with foil. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
